Rules & Regulations

General

  • Application for admission shall in all cases be considered by the Principal.
  • The scholastic year begins in April and terminates in March.

School

  • Every pupil is expected to be in time daily for the general assembly at the commencement of the first meeting. Pupils will be liable to be sent home in the absence of written explanation from their parents or proper guardians for being late.
  • No leave for absence is granted except for grave and valid reasons which must be stated in the requested written application for leave.
  • Pupils, who for some unexplained reasons have been absent from school for more than a month are liable to have their names struck off the rolls. They will be enrolled again as New Admission.
  • In all case of absence, pupils will be allowed to give an explanation for the reason of absence, and in case of illness, a medical certificate in addition.
  • Care must be taken of all school property and no student should scratch or spoil the desks, or write or draw on the charts, or damage any school furniture.
  • Irregular attendance, unjustified and unexplained disobedience, repeated failures in tests and examinations, justify dismissal.
  • Articles found in the school are to be handed over to the principal or receptionist.
  • Student should be habitually clean and always neatly dressed. The school uniform should be worn on all working days and at all school functions.
  • Parents are strictly enjoined not to interview children or their teacher in class, without the permission of Principal.
  • Pupils may not be taken away from class by anybody without an application from parents or guardians.
  • All pupils must take part in drill and outdoor games.
  • Two PT’s and 2 SA’s are held in an academic year including number of class test and activities.
  • Results of examinations are final & cannot be reconsidered.
  • Minimum pass marks 33%.
  • Promotion is decided on the aggregate marks of all the examinations held throughout the year. However a satisfactory number of marks at the final examination will be considered necessary, e.g. pupil may not be promoted if he/she fails in the final examination even if his/her aggregate marks in other examinations throughout the year be sufficient for promotion.
  • Pre-Board Examination:- in respect of class X & XII, Two pre-board test will be held before the board examination. (I in December, II in January)
